Spearfish Reef is made by Spaikz LLC. This page describes what the game does with your information. It is short because the game does almost nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. Spearfish Reef has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of its own. We do not collect, transmit or store any personal information.

The game makes no network calls

This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly: the app does not talk to the internet at all. There is no backend, no leaderboard server, no telemetry endpoint. The only network traffic it can ever cause is Apple's own, when you tap Buy or Restore on a reef — that connection is between your device and the App Store, and we never see it.

Where your data lives

Your high scores, your pearls, your harpoon skin and which reefs you own are stored on your own device. They are not uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.

Analytics and advertising

There are none, and that is a deliberate design decision rather than an oversight. Spearfish Reef contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no third-party trackers of any kind. There will never be advertising in this game.

Purchases

Some reefs are one-off purchases handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your payment details. The app asks the App Store what you already own so it can unlock what you paid for, including after a reinstall or on a second device.

Everything for sale is permanent and cosmetic-plus-scenery. There are no consumables, no loot boxes, no currency bought with real money, and nothing purchasable makes you better at the game.

Children

Spearfish Reef is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anybody, so there is no personal information of a child for us to hold. It contains no advertising, no third-party content and no way to communicate with other players.

Changes

If a future version ever adds accounts or an online leaderboard, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the app will tell you what changed.
